We are looking for a Freelance Technology Writer to supplement our driven and friendly editorial team at Goodwood.com and our Festival of Speed social channels working on our Future Lab and FOS Tech content streams.

You will be a proficient tech researcher and digital media native with expert knowledge of different types of tech news and subject areas that perform well on socials. You’ll be able to write exceptional attention-grabbing copy and in-depth associated articles aligned to Goodwood’s tone of voice. You’ll know where to look for and to obtain rights-ready images and video to tell compelling technology stories.

You’ll be confident with your knowledge around cutting-edge mobility, automotive science, and tech culture. You'll focus on growing new tech audiences and meeting digital KPIs with platform specific content.

What you will need:

• Demonstrable work experience in a similar social media or content creative role
• Experience of delivering content relevant to tech and science industries
• Strong copywriting skills that can adapt to different platforms unique best practises
• Short-script writing skills for tech GFX packages
